Our travel fee is calculated at $2 per minute of travel from our location to yours, covering the artist's time and gas mileage. This ensures fair compensation for the time and resources required to provide our on-site services.
3. How much do you charge for makeup services?
We charge an hourly fee of $150/hr for our services. Keep in mind the time it takes to complete a makeup application will vary on the details of the request, and even the clients skin condition due to extra steps and preparation.
4. How far in advance should I book my makeup appointment?
For special events, we recommend booking at least 4-6 weeks in advance to secure your spot, especially for weddings and larger events. For regular appointments, 1-2 weeks in advance is typically sufficient.
5. What products do you use?
We use high-quality, professional-grade products from brands such as MAC, Fenty Beauty, Charlotte Tillbury, etc. All products are chosen for their long wear, suitability for various skin types, and ability to achieve flawless results.
6. Can you work with my skin type or any skin sensitivities I have?
Yes, we customize our approach based on your skin type and any sensitivities or allergies you may have. Please inform us of any known skin conditions, allergies, or product preferences during our consultation, so we can tailor our kit to your needs.
7. Do you offer trials for weddings or special events?
Yes, we highly recommend a trial makeup session before major events to ensure you’re happy with your look. Trials help us fine-tune your makeup and ensure the final look is exactly what you envision for your big day. We require them in our bridal makeup services.
8. How long does a makeup session take?
For a full makeup application, it usually takes about 45-60 minutes. Bridal or more detailed looks may take up to 90 minutes. Trials and consultations can also vary in time depending on the complexity of the look you want to achieve.
9. How do I prepare for my makeup appointment?
It’s best to arrive with a clean, moisturized face. If you have any reference photos or specific looks in mind, please feel free to bring them along so we can work together to achieve the style you’re envisioning.
10. Can you do makeup for large groups or bridal parties?
Yes! We can accommodate group bookings for bridal parties, photo shoots, or special events. For larger groups, we may bring additional artists or assistants to ensure everyone is ready on time.
11. What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule?
If you cancel your appointment within 24 hours of booking, your deposit will be refunded. However, cancellations made after this 24-hour window will result in a forfeited deposit. Additionally, if you cancel within 48 hours of your scheduled makeup appointment, you will be charged for the full cost of the service. Please note, makeup service policies are stricter than those for waxing or facial treatments because makeup services are often event-based and may require additional preparation and travel.
12. What if my event is early in the morning or late at night?
We offer flexible hours to accommodate early morning or late-night events. For bookings outside of normal business hours, an additional fee of $25 may apply.
13. Do you provide touch-up services during an event?
Yes, we can stay on-site for touch-ups throughout the event. This is a great option for brides or anyone attending a photoshoot to keep the makeup fresh and flawless.
14. Do you sanitize your tools and makeup products?
Absolutely. Hygiene is extremely important to us. We thoroughly clean and sanitize all brushes, tools, and makeup products between clients to ensure a safe and clean application every time.
